Village Hall

The Village Hall Committee are happy to announce that Athelstaneford village hall is available for use again. Hall 130509 002Extensive repairs have taken place over the last 6 months .

The hall can be booked for many types of events such as Ceilidhs, plays, children’s parties, coffee mornings, clubs, sports activities. Rates are reasonable and include reductions for locals. Click here for rates.

History.

Athelstaneford Village Hall was opened for use in November 1929. The ground was donated to the village by Sir David Alexander Kinloch, of Gilmerton, and the hall built by means of subscription and donations. It was given for use by the inhabitants of Athelstaneford and environs.

The hall is managed by trustees and a management committee.
