Last Saturday’s planting day in the Glebe went well with children and adults all mucking in. We weeded the beds and planted tatties, pumpkins, some rhubarb and flowers. We’ll be holding regular sessions through the summer to keep an eye on them and sharing knowledge about growing plants.
Our next task is to start building a compost bin so we can rot down the big mounds of top soil and manure we have to create healthy soil for next year.
Get in touch if you’d like to be involved, have an idea you’d like to try out or if you just want to learn more.
