Village Hall refurbishment – work has started!

Today contractors started work to refurbish and modernise the village hall (which is expected to take 4 months to complete). Here are some ‘before’ pictures – we can’t wait to see it when it’s finished!

Thank you to all our funders for making this possible, in particular:

In addition, the Haddington and Lammermuir Area Partnership provided £5K that enabled the release of the Viridor funding.

The remaining funding was made up of donations to the village hall appeal and from fundraising events – particular thanks go to the local farming community for their generous support and to everyone who chipped in on the way. We managed to smash our target of £15K, securing over £21K towards the refurbishment and replacement furniture.
